Type. Brake shoes for locomotives and wagons
Shape and size: According to international standard UIC 542 and customer requirements.
Material: Brake shoes are made of alloyed gray iron with phosphorus P10 or P14 according to international standard UIC 832/2004 or composition S by the requirements of the client.
Hardness:
197 <HB <255 HB 832 to P10 UIC;
200 <HB <255 HB 832 to P14 UIC;
190 <HB <250 HB for S;
180 <HB <250 HB for P09;
Technical requirements and mechanical properties of the brake shoes are regulated and controlled according to UIC 832/2004. Requirements for brake shoes not mentioned in the standard are agreed with the client.
Brake shoes have + 5% deviation in weight.
